Michael Buckner
Co-owner, Principal
Michael Buckner is the co-owner of Audio Zen, a custom A/V integration company based in Canton that specializes in creating immersive technology experiences for luxury homes. With a deep passion for music, design, and the outdoors, Michael has built his career, starting in 1996, around blending high-performance audio, smart home technology, and thoughtful craftsmanship into environments that feel both cutting-edge and deeply personal.
Known for his hands-on expertise and client-focused approach, Michael works closely with homeowners, builders, architects, and designers to deliver systems that are as intuitive as they are beautiful. His experience spans whole-home audio, home theaters, networking, lighting control, outdoor entertainment spaces, and integrated smart home ecosystems.
Beyond technology, Michael is driven by creativity and connection. He writes regularly about the custom integration industry, sharing insights with both professionals and homeowners while advocating for thoughtful design and seamless user experiences. His vision for Audio Zen reflects his personality: calm, immersive, nature-inspired, and centered around the emotional power of music.
Outside of work, Michael is a father of two who values family, adventure, travel, and authenticity. Whether he's designing a luxury media room, troubleshooting complex systems, or paddling through a quiet river surrounded by music and nature, he brings the same philosophy to everything he does — technology should enrich life, not complicate it.

Cameron Hyde
Co-owner, Director of Production
Cameron Hyde is Audio Zen's Director of Production and one of the most versatile programmers in the custom integration industry. With 15 years of hands-on experience, Cameron has earned a reputation for being able to program nearly every control system on the market — Crestron, Control4, Elan, Lutron, Savant, RTI — bending each platform to do exactly what the room and the client require.
On every Audio Zen project, Cameron owns the engineering through-line: rack design, system architecture, code, calibration, and the quiet, methodical commissioning that separates a system that works from a system that delights. His standard is simple — if a homeowner has to think about how to use it, the work isn't finished.
Outside the shop, Cameron is a dad to two kids and an avid mountain biker. Most weekends you'll find him on the trails with his children in tow, chasing the same flow state he brings to a well-tuned home.

Ryan Quinlan
Director of Sales
With over 25 years of experience designing award-winning systems, Ryan has the rare ability to take your ideas and turn them into reality. He creates smart, intuitive solutions that are beautifully engineered and built to elevate the way you live.
Ryan's philosophy is simple: ideas, designed, delivered. From the first conversation through final calibration, he partners with homeowners, architects, and builders to translate vision into systems that feel effortless — whether it's a private theater, a Lutron-controlled lighting scene, or a whole-home Crestron experience.
His depth across audio, video, lighting, shading, networking, and control platforms is matched by a craftsman's attention to detail. Every rack labeled, every line documented, every room tuned. The result is technology you stop thinking about — and a home that simply responds.
Meet
Don Dunn
Custom Integrator & Technology Reviewer
Don Dunn was born in Louisville as part of a third-generation thoroughbred horse racing family, but his passion for music and movies ultimately led him toward a career in electronics, beginning in car audio in the late 1980s before transitioning into custom home technology shortly thereafter.
For more than 30 years, Don has built a career as an award-winning high-end custom integrator, contributing to numerous nationally recognized, published award-winning projects, including work on the largest home in America in Orlando. He is recognized throughout the industry as an expert on all aspects of home technology, including audio/video systems, automation, lighting control, networking, and luxury smart home integration.
Since 2019, Don has also worked as a technology reviewer covering high-performance audio and video products through both written reviews and YouTube content for Audioholics and his own YouTube channel, Digital Don AV. His work also extends into private aviation, where he reviews and analyzes cabin technology systems and user experience.
Don is incredibly excited to be part of the Audio Zen team, where he is working alongside what he considers the most experienced and passionate group of integrators he has worked with in his entire career.
Outside of his professional career, Don enjoys spending time with family, mountain biking, and exploring the mountains and outdoors of North Georgia.
